May/June Badminton

Hello everyone,

This is to let you know that we can play badminton as late as Thursday June 12th if there are enough people interested in playing at that time. That means there aren't many playing opportunities left in the season, so make an effort to get out as often as possible before the long summer break.

The last two round robin nights of the season are Tuesday May 6th and Thursday May 15th. As always, if you intend to play in one of the round robins you must arrive by 7:20 on those nights and register with Mark who will then set up the draw sheets. Players in the round robins must be prepared to stay till 9:30 if necessary. There will be courts for regular play if you don't want to play round robin, but most players will be in the round robins.

Badminton starts late tonight @ 8:00 p.m.

Coaching has been cancelled this evening.

Tonight is Parent-Teachers Night when parent-teacher interviews will be taking place. It's a night that's normally not available to us for badminton. This time we can play, but ...

THE PRINCIPAL INSISTS THAT NO BADMINTON PLAYERS ENTER THE GYMS BEFORE 8:00 P.M.  "Participants must NOT go in and set up until the interviews are finished."

IT'S VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE DO AS SHE WISHES SO THAT WE'RE NOT DISRUPTIVE.  

If the night goes well, I hope that future parent-teacher nights will be available for badminton too.

March Round Robins

Two Round Robin nights have been scheduled for March. The first is Tues. March 18th and second is Thurs. March 27th.

If you plan to participate please arrive and register before 7:20 so that we can organize and get the groups playing quickly enough so that all the games finish before 9:30.  Registering for the event requires that you be available for play until 9:30.

Not all courts will be used for the round robins. Players who don't want to participate or arrive too late can play on the unused courts.
